Aims Community College

At Aims Community College, I've played a pivotal role in driving numerous impactful projects and enhancing operational efficiencies. One being a close collaboration with Aten Design Group to rebuild the main website. I spearheaded the architectural design and development of the Aims Community College website, ensuring a seamless user experience and modern design aesthetic. Additionally, I interfaced with Aims IT to integrate OKTA Identity Provider with Drupal, leveraging modules such as SAML Authentication and simpleSAMLphp to enhance security and streamline authentication processes.

One of my notable achievements was leading the successful delivery of the Aims Community College Public Class Schedule project, where I facilitated collaboration between Workday contractors, Aims IT, and Aims Marketing to ensure timely completion and surpass development requirements. Furthermore, I designed and implemented editor workflows and admin approval processes, optimizing content management and governance procedures.

Another significant contribution was the architecture, design, and styling of the Aims Resource Library, a comprehensive tool that centralizes access to various documents and resources on the Aims website. By associating each document with relevant departments, degrees, or clubs, I facilitated efficient information retrieval and improved user accessibility.

Throughout the Aims project, I've demonstrated a strong leadership ability, effectively leading projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing business operations and delivering high-quality outcomes. My dedication to excellence and passion for innovation have been instrumental in driving positive change and achieving success in various endeavors at Aims Community College.

Carla Autrey - Artist & Illustrator

In my role as the web developer for Carla Autrey, I undertook full responsibility for the design, implementation, and management of her website. From conceptualization to execution, I meticulously crafted every aspect of the website, ensuring a seamless and visually appealing online presence that resonates with Carla's brand identity.

Moreover, I took charge of setting up hosting and implementing version control systems to ensure the website's stability, security, and scalability. By leveraging industry-leading platforms and technologies, I established a robust infrastructure that optimizes performance and facilitates efficient website management.

In addition to website development, I integrated WooCommerce for e-commerce functionality, enabling seamless online transactions and enhancing the customer shopping experience. Through strategic configuration and customization, I tailored the payment setup to meet Carla's specific requirements, providing a secure and user-friendly purchasing process for her customers.

Furthermore, I devised and executed a comprehensive marketing plan aimed at increasing sales and expanding Carla's online presence. Leveraging my expertise in digital marketing, I implemented strategies to drive traffic, engage customers, and maximize conversions, ultimately contributing to the growth and success of Carla Autrey's business.

Crowder Supply

One of my primary roles was the development and management of Crowder Supply's website. From design to implementation, I played a central role in crafting a user-friendly and visually compelling website that effectively showcased the company's products and services. By leveraging my expertise in web development and design, I ensured that the website not only met but exceeded industry standards, contributing to increased traffic and sales.

I actively contributed to streamlining internal processes and improving operational efficiency. Whether it was implementing new software solutions, optimizing inventory management systems, or enhancing customer support processes, I consistently sought opportunities to drive efficiency and improve overall business performance.

Moreover, I updated and enhanced web content across 6 domains, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all platforms. Additionally, I created migrations and migration process functions to import over 24,000 products into a new Drupal 8 site. I also wrote custom PHP to create YAML configuration files used to generate product types and product variation types, further enhancing the functionality and customization of the website. Additionally, I edited and created twig template files to arrange content for Front-End Development, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience.

Overall, the work at Crowder Supply was marked by a commitment to excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement. Through my contributions, I played a vital role in advancing the company's digital initiatives and positioning Crowder Supply for sustained success in a competitive market.

Thayer Manufacturing

When working with Thayer Manufacturing, I undertook a significant project to redesign and develop their website, culminating in a modern and user-friendly online presence that reflected the company's values and capabilities. I transitioned their outdated website to a modern CMS (WordPress), providing them with enhanced functionality, flexibility, and ease of use. Additionally, I upgraded their hosting to include SSL certificates, ensuring a secure browsing experience for their visitors.

One of the notable achievements during this project was the substantial improvement in Thayer Manufacturing's SEO visibility. By implementing strategic SEO tactics and optimizations, I successfully elevated their ranking from not being listed for "Machine Shops in Parker CO" to claiming the number two spot in search engine results. This achievement significantly boosted their online visibility and organic traffic, driving potential leads and opportunities for the business.

Furthermore, I created custom post types and pages to align with the new design and better showcase Thayer Manufacturing's products and services. This customization allowed for a tailored and cohesive user experience, improving navigation and engagement on the website.

In addition to website development, I focused on improving business processes to streamline operations and enhance customer interactions. Specifically, I revamped the process for requesting a quote and conducting surveys, making it more intuitive, efficient, and user-friendly. By implementing these improvements, I facilitated smoother communication and transactions, ultimately enhancing customer satisfaction and driving business growth.

Western Colorado University

Using Drupal 7, I utilizing views, content types, and tags, I arranged dynamic content that created a better user experience on the Western Colorado University website. Additionally, I created and implemented landing pages from Photoshop designs, ensuring consistency with the university's branding and providing engaging entry points for visitors.

Furthermore, I played a pivotal role in promoting accessibility standards and enhancing content management processes at Western Colorado University. I developed comprehensive training materials and facilitated training sessions for faculty, staff, and students on accessibility standards, content editing, and content publishing on the university's public website. These efforts contributed to improving website accessibility and empowering users to create and manage content effectively, fostering a more inclusive and user-friendly digital environment for the university community.
